Below is a schedule of what we do on Sundays.
We start with reports that praise God. “God was good to me this week.”
Every week there is a memory verse taken from the Bible which ties into the topic of the day. Children learn that the Bible is God’s book and that it contains “God’s words to me… and you…. ”
After this part of the worship I create opportunities for leadership;leading the singing for the whole group and taking charge of offering. These activities teach leadership for future involvement by building up thoughtful preparation and confidence.
There is a focused time for prayer. I believe this is THE most important time to honor our Lord and as such each child is given time to pray.
